Red Wine
The Red Canarian Wine is a very full-bodied wine, its average content of alcohol is around 13.5 degrees. The Island of Tenerife is the biggest red wines producer of the Canary Islands archipelago. Because of the considerable climate difference between the northern and the southern parts of the island, there are wines whose differences of taste, body, aroma are very evident. Due to the Atlantic climate and the Trade Winds influence, the wines coming from the Tacoronte Acentejo Designation of Origin region stand out for their high quality and unique taste.
